Grassroots Development Laboratory

In partnership with Indicorps, the Piramal Foundation has established a Grassroots Development Laboratory (GDL) in the village of Bagar, Rajasthan, the ancestral home of the Piramal family. This initiative takes an experiment-driven approach by applying best practices in development and innovative ideas to a geographically focused area and aims to find scaleable and sustainable solutions to some of India's toughest development challenges, particularly in the area of healthcare, education, livelihood and technology utilization.
